1970 Dorado 6027
The previous owner strung this with STEEL strings,
and then the guitar then sat unused for approximately 8 years. This resulted
in the following problems: lifting of the neck heel, shattering of the
saddle & bridge, extensive fret wear and grooves worn into the tuning
machine rollers. A neck reset, fingerboard planing and refretting, new
tuning machines and a new bridge and bone nut & saddle by Chicago luthier Tim Schroeder has given this classical
new life.
