Paul Newson 1995 L5 Style

This stunning archtop is the only left handed guitar made by luthier Paul Newson of Manton, MI. Built in 1995, according to Paul, the birds-eye maple used in its construction was obtained from the demolition of a 100+ year old barn. Paul felt, based on the size of the original timber, the tree was over 80 years old when felled. This guitar is hand built with carved ebony tailpiece/finger rest/bridge and a Bennedeto style floating pickup. A joy to hear to say the least!
